Project Rachel:

Project Rachel is a ministry of healing for women and men who have had
a past abortion experience. It seeks to invite all those whose lives have
been affected by abortion to a journey of healing and reconciliation with
God, their church community and themselves.
Project Rachel is a sensitive, private and confidential program. On a
confidential telephone line, staff members help callers to assess their
needs for psychological and/or spiritual counselling. A Rachel’s Vineyard
retreat is also offered. This retreat provides an opportunity to journey
with those seeking healing from a past abortion experience.
This ministry was created by the National Office of Post-Abortion Reconciliation
and Healing, Archdiocese of Milwaukee, WI. In Southern Alberta, it is
sponsored by the Life and Family Resource Centre, Roman Catholic Diocese of Calgary. There
it enjoys the support and active participation of several Christian denominations.
